Megan founded Des Moines Cleaning Services after weekend cleaning jobs for neighbors and local families gradually turned into a full schedule. She grew up in Central Iowa and likes spending free weekends on area trails with her husband and their rescue dog, Penny. Megan still enjoys the moment at the end of a job when a previously busy-looking kitchen or bathroom feels settled again.
Kayla joined the team after several years of customer-facing work where organization and attention to detail were part of her daily routine. She lives on the north side of the metro and is the person on the team most likely to notice a dusty ledge that everyone else walked past. Outside work, she coaches a youth volleyball team and spends part of every summer helping in her parents' vegetable garden.
Marcus focuses much of his time on move-outs, short-term rental turnovers, and small commercial cleaning where timing matters as much as the cleaning itself. He has lived in the Des Moines area for more than a decade and became known on the team for carefully organizing equipment before each route. On weekends, he enjoys fishing at Central Iowa lakes and working on an older pickup he has been slowly restoring.
We start by trying to understand the job before anyone arrives. Property size, condition, priorities, timing, access, pets, and special concerns can all affect how a cleaning should be approached. The clearer those details are, the easier it is to focus the visit on what matters.
Once we are in the home or workplace, we work methodically through the agreed areas instead of rushing from room to room.
